Mental Health Awareness Week

From the 8th -14th May it is Mental Health Awareness week where many organisations across the UK will be talking about mental health to help more people find out what it means and what we can do to help ourselves and each other.

Here at Beacon Counselling we are doing a number of things throughout the week to raise awareness with our clients, volunteers and staff including making sure we take regular breaks to rest and resfresh, practice mindfulness and sharing some useful information that can help improve mental health both now and in the future.

We will be regularly posting on social media about what we are doing so do follow us and share your own information with us.

We will be ending the week at Bramhall Duck Race, in Bramhall Park, where will we will have a stand at which you can get more information about Beacon and how we can help if you or someone you know is struggling to cope at the moment. Do come over and say hi, we are always pleased to make new friends.
