Our Early Help and Wellbeing Service for Young People in Stockport Aged 11-17
SHINE is an early help and wellbeing service specially for young people in Stockport aged 11-17 years and will provide you with information, advice and guidance relating to your emotional wellbeing. We may signpost you to a more relevant service, that will be able to support you with your specific, individual needs.
Our SHINE programme will also be running the wellbeing groups listed below to provide the opportunity to meet other young people, gain new skills and explore your emotional well-being.

ARC will initially be running a limited programme for 6 weeks over the summer, commencing on Wednesday 18 August 2021
Arc’s SHINE programme is a chance to explore your creativity through the visual arts – painting, drawing, collage, mixed media and more. Over the course of the 12 weeks, you’ll get to opportunity to learn some new skills, meet other young people who are also interested in visual arts and get to explore your own creativity all under the expert guidance of a professional artist.
Alongside meeting new people and learning new skills as part of the project you will be given your own pack of art resources so that you can continue to create in your own time at home.

Beacon Shine Groups will be commencing September 2021
Beacon SHINE progamme will allow you to develop skills to support your own emotional wellbeing, build reliance and confidence. Sessions will have a weekly theme based on emotional wellbeing, with local young people services supporting you to provide further an insight into ways in which you can best look after your emotional wellbeing.
Over 12 weeks you will explore your own wellbeing and develop skills and gain an understanding of how to look after your emotional wellbeing as well as learning about other services that can provide further support. In addition to this you will also meet other young people and support each other.
